Up, up and away! Fuquay-Varina reaches new heights on Memorial Day weekend as dozens of hot air balloons take flight at the Freedom Balloon Fest.  
 

Project Uplift USA, Inc. is a North Carolina 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation responsible for producing the Freedom Balloon Fest. Fuquay-Varina is the host city. 

This festival is a combination of live entertainment, children and youth activities, classic cars, fabulous food and an arts and crafts show. In short, the Celebrate Fuquay-Varina festival is free, family fun in true Fuquay-Varina style. Join us for the Celebrate Fuquay-Varina Festival on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 10 am – 4 pm in Downtown Fuquay-Varina

Celebrate Independence Day early by attending the Fuquay-Varina Independence Day Celebration on July 3rd. This event includes diverse group of food vendors, music acts, free inflatable rides, and a free world class fireworks display. Gates open at 6:00 pm.

The Easter Bunny brings more than 20,000 candy-filled eggs to South Park for Fuquay-Varina’s annual Easter Egg Hunt which is usually scheduled on a Saturday one week prior to Easter. 

Celebrate the town of Fuquay-Varina and National Ice Cream Day at the Fuquay Mineral Spring Park. National Ice Cream Day is the third Sunday in July.
